Project Description: Hydrophilic intermittent catheter ‘all-in-one’ insertion aid.

Roles & Responsibilities: Concept Generation, Ethnographic Research, Usability, Concept Visualisation

The aim of this project was to identify negative usability elements within an existing catheter system and improve on these through various usability design and human factors considerations.

Pulling together the strongest concepts, I had a great time creating the concept CAD models in preparation for visualisation. The end result being clear and consistent presentation visuals to get stakeholders invested in the potential solutions.

A pre-lubricated, sheathed, single-use intermittent catheter with aseptic handling to provide the user with convenience and comfort on-the-go.
