The AquaVENT® FD140i is the next generation of dual gas flow driver from Armstrong Medical.

There was a challenge in sourcing an acceptable forming process to achieve a device design that met requirements. The initial form & aesthetic of the device was constrained early on as traditional injection moulding was not suitable for projected sales quantities. Working closely with the Electrical Engineering & Hardware team, we were successful in producing the FD140i as we entered the global pandemic, to then be approved for sale in May 2020.

Being responsible for device enclosure design, ingress water protection solutions, generating and controlling the technical and user manual documentation and visual content – this project had me happily wearing many hats!
